Few people know that the term “art of living” was originated by Paramhansa Yogananda in the 1920s when he defined the art of living as consisting of being “Abundantly healthy, reasonably wealthy, and abundantly happy.”
Come learn the art of being abundantly happy with a community full of people who practice just that!
In his inimical style, Nayaswami Jaya will guide you through various tools that will help you find that fount: You will learn how we can ‘choose’ to be happy, and how to share that happiness with others, and how meditation can put you in touch with your innermost core, thereby bestowing such peace that you can stand (as Yogananda often quoted) “unshaken amidst the crash of breaking worlds.”
The venue for this retreat will be Ananda Kriya Yogashram, situated in the natural serenity of the rural countryside, at the foothills of the beautiful Sahyadri hills near Pune, removed from worldly distractions and responsibilities, surrounded by other truth seekers.
The program will include:
- Classes on the principles of Happiness
- Question and Answer sessions
- Ananda Yoga
- Group Meditations
- Healthy vegetarian homemade meals
- Kirtan
- Other fun filled activities
